1. Operators (@) are to follow the channel guidelines, just like normal users. 2. Number of channels you're allowed to op in; there is no restriction. (Just make sure you're able to handle opping in all of them.) 3. Nicknames; You're more then welcome to use any nickname you like to op in chatzone, however away nicks are not permitted. People will be able to see who's access you're using; using /msg nickop access nickname or /msg chanop access #channel -check nickname 4. Conflict resolution; Any 150+ can handle complaints about other ops or users. Ops are expected to be civil at all times. No kicking or banning of other ops or users for personal reasons. Use /ignore nickname 3. if a user persists in private harrassment of an op, discuss this with an admin (150+) and a channel ban may be set if appropiate. 5. If a op is breaking a rule, it is prefered that you advise them first in onotice or privately to seek a reply. If an op refuses to stop their rule breaking activity, seek an admin to deal with them, this may result in removing the op in question from the channel, suspending the op, or deleting the op. 6. New Recruits (Ops) will start at level 75. Until completed training. 7. Ops are expected to be in channel when online, failure may result in suspension or deletion. 8. NoteOP; NoteOP's being sent to the channel will remain at level 150 or above. NoteOP's are only for important channel business. Ops are not to block channel notes. (If you've already got it on, remove it by using /msg noteop block del #chatzone) 9. Ops notice (onotice); Onotice is mainly for channel business, and some times op to op chat. It is not to be abused. If onotices are annoying you, please deop yourself. 10. Ban(s); No remote scripts. Auto scripts for kicking or banning aren't permitted. 11. Only those on the ChanOP database can be voiced (+) or oped (@). You don't voice or op users who don't have access. 12. Maximum ban limit time for ops (100) is 24 hours. If you need a longer ban set, consult an admin (150+). If you're unsure of a rule, please don't hesitate to contact Chris or an admin (150+). |
